This is a fitting kit to install a single DIN or double DIN new stereo into a W203 C class or CLC. This kit is applicable for cars built from March 2003 (Model Year 2004 facelift) to end of production of the Saloon and Estate and for the Coupe which was produced until 2011. NOTE if you have a post December 2008 with the phone buttons on the stereo being Red and Green (rather than white) you will need to opt for the 'Phantom Fed Antenna' option. This is a special order item and can take a few days to come into stock. This enables the steering wheel buttons to work (volume, phone answer) when used with SWC capable stereo from Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Clarion, JVC or Sony. Please note that if your car does not have the phone system already then the steering wheel telephone controls will need enabling with Star Diagnosis diagnostic computer. The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, handbrake, speed pulse and reverse gear outputs for the new stereo, most often used for Sat-Nav or Car Play / Android Auto units. This is a special order item and can take a few days to come into stock. If you tell us your VIN and what stereo you are putting in your car, we will setup the switches/connections on the interface for you to save you some effort.
