NTG3.5/NTG4.5/NTG5 Map Update PIN code for South East Asia maps

When installing a new map on NTG3.5 (W221 S/CL post model year 2010), NTG4.5 (W204/R172 MY2011 onward) or NTG5 (latest systems) a PIN code is needed. It is the PIN code that is the licence for the map, thus preventing fraudulent repeat installation of a map disk on many vehicles. You must put the VIN number and the exact description of the map version in the NOTES section on the order (at bottom of shopping cart page). We will then have the PIN code generated for you by Mercedes Benz. The process may take a few days. The PIN code is tied to the vehicle VIN and to the exact map version. If you get the wrong VIN or map version, the PIN code will not work, and we will NOT be able to refund you as we will have already paid Mercedes Benz for the PIN code. We can send the PIN code on a letter by post and will not charge VAT for sales outside the European fiscal area.
