The genuine Mercedes iPhone 5/5S charging cradle. *** This is ONLY for cars with Bluetooth built into the head unit, NTG4.5 (with Gen 2 media interface) or NTG5 AND with the UHI/Comfort Phone connector in your armrest (or next to the cluster on Vito/Viano/Sprinter) and media interface. It will not work with COMAND systems with DVD based maps (NTG1/NTG2), NTG3 or early NTG4.5 Media Interface or Audio-20 without inbuilt bluetooth **** When your iPhone 5/5S is plugged into this cradle and the MI cable or USB cable, it charges and uses the cars external aerial. You then pair the phone with the head unit for Bluetooth functions. Note that this means that if your head unit doesn't already bluetooth to your telephone this cradle will not work for you even if you have the UHI/Comfort Phone functions, and if your iPhone 5/5S already pairs but will not transfer the address book (W204 & R197 SLS) then it still won't transfer the address book. Please check with us before ordering if you are unsure.
