The in2digi D-MB-2 integrated DAB/DAB+ system is for NTG 2.5, NTG3, NTG4, NTG4-W212 and NTG4.5 cars with the COMAND (colour satnav) system and the Audio-20 with inbuilt CD Changer, and cars with Audio-20 that have Harmon Kardon and/or Media Interface, and the Audio-50-APS. It fully integrates with the system and is used through the menus on the audio system in the same way that the factory DAB tuner does. It can be used to replace the Mercedes DAB tuner (if you have DAB) so as to add DAB+ capability as more and more DAB+ stations are added. DAB/DAB+ Band III and DMB supported. It is fully digital from the transmission all the way to the car's amplifier, so the sound quality is exceptional. 1M Fibre optic pair and MOST joiner, Power lead, and D-MB-2 tuner included in the box. If ordering one of the factory antenna systems instead of the windscreen antenna please ensure you order the longer fibre if it says it is needed. Options include 5M fibre pair, and integrated (factory) antennas for some Mercedes vehicles (note that the integrated antenna options are special order, and if your vehicle is not listed you should contact us) For the Mercedes integrated antenna options you need to check that the window has the antenna in it, for instance on the ML/GL W164 you need to look at the left fixed window at the rear of the car. This system drives a 7.2-volt antenna, we recommend you order the optional windscreen antenna or contact us about parts for installing the factory antenna amplifier (vehicle dependent). Product launched in October 2016, and supports DAB Service Following including on NTG2.5. System is software upgradable to allow future addition of features. Compatible with Mercedes DAB antenna amplifiers if you want to use existing vehicle TV antennas in the rear/side windscreens (for instance on the W176 A, W166 ML class rear screen), but additional parts will be needed including Mercedes vehicle specific antenna amplifier and a suitable antenna lead. Note that the factory Mercedes tuner for NTG2.5/NTG3/NTG4.5 does not support DAB+ or Service Following whereas the in2digi does support these features.
