Comand wiring loom adapter for W208 CLK, W210 E, W203 C, W209 CLK, W463 G Class, 2004/2005 W163 ML
| This is the wiring adapter that you will need to install Comand into a W208 CLK (old shape) or W210 E class (old shape), pre MY05 W203 C, pre MY05 W209 CLK or older W463 G class and 2004/2005 W163 ML, or W163 ML not using the roof mounted GPS antenna
It contains the wiring for CD changer, steering wheel controls,and instrument cluster display. It allows you to plug your COMAND directly into the car's existing wiring. It is a simple plug and play part, but you will need to connect one wire in the adapter to the car's speed signal. The speed signal is either on the main audio/comand connector (A pin 1), or it is a black/green wire, just taped up, in the wiring duct under the left hand door sill or just forward of the sill - so you will need either a scotchlock or a piece of wire and a couple of crimp connectors. |
